I am super excited to have finally finished this beautiful lap-sized white Retro Granny Square blanket!
When I started this blanket, I had a selection of bright colours I chose to work with, but no final decision on my joining/edging colour. I was thinking maybe cream or white or turquoise, but didn't make my final decision until right at the end.
Final result was white and I am very happy with the decision to choose white. This blanket looks fresh and happy... the perfect type of blanket to cuddle under to read a book on a cool winters day!
Although I love to give new stitches and styles a go, nothing quite beats the classic granny square!
This is my 10th crochet blanket! Didn't realise I'd made that many until I posted this - hopefully many more to come.
