It's been an exciting and very busy few weeks around here. Lately I've been loving...

The fact that school is out! Our youngest finished her last day of school in style - I had forgotten to cast my eye over her ensemble for the day, so missed giving my thoughts on socks and jandals. She didn't care about my thoughts anyway!

Our school's end of year concert was one of it's best yet... and not just because this guy of mine rocked playing King Herod. Really proud of all my kids, as well as all of the other amazing children involved.

Loving slow mornings now that the kids are on holiday from school. Not every morning is slow - there is still a million functions and appointments, and I haven't quite finished work, but when there is a slow morning on the horizon, we take it extra slow...,

Loving the Christmassy atmosphere filling our home!

It's all about traditions people... traditions like Egg Nog in the evenings around the Christmas tree...

Visiting the local Christmas lights...

Making Peppermint Bark and other favourite Christmas treats while Christmas music is playing...

And taking the time to smell the roses in the middle of a busy day (this one is called Courage)...

We had the most amazing day last Sunday. After an awesome morning at church, we headed out to a local beach where 10 people from our church were baptised in water, including our youngest boy. Such a beautiful day, and powerful time.
