It is especially fun when you are celebrating the up and coming wedding of a precious lady.

The lovely Heather is getting married next weekend, and yesterday we celebrated with High Tea at The Office (I love this Café - make sure you check it out if you are ever in the area).

Our table of girls had heaps of laughs, enjoyed the interesting selection of tea available and loved the delicious goodies that were piled up high.

Can't wait to celebrate Heather's wedding next weekend!

I love books!  In fact, our entire family love books!

Yesterday our daughter got the opportunity to meet one of her favourite authors, Rosie Boom! Rosie has just released the final book in The Barn Chronicle Series (called Where the River Rises). 

These books are amazing, and I'd totally recommend them as a Christmas pressy for children (even adults enjoy them).  Go here find out more.

The book release day was so much fun!  Rosie signed her books and talked about the book journey, there was delicious food, games, an art competition and horse rides on a 100 year old cart.  The girls loved it (and so did my Mum and I).

Another amazing lady (and fellow blogging buddy Simone) has just released her Christmas book! Simone's book is amazing, and would make the perfect Christmas pressy!  It's even been made into a short movie that we showed at our church last year at Christmas (go here to view).  AMAZING!!

I'm going through a loaf baking stage at the moment after last week's Banana Loaf, and this delicious Coconut Loaf!

I have made (and listed here) another Coconut Loaf before by Alison Holst, but I just had to share this recipe too as it has only a few simple ingredients, and is so yum!

Ingredients

1¼ cups Coconut soaked in 1 cup Milk for 1 hour

1 cup Sugar

½ cup Sultanas (optional - I didn't use them!)

Pinch Salt

1¼ cups Self-Raising Flour

Add sugar, salt and sultanas (if using) to coconut mixture.  Lastly add flour.  Grease a loaf tin and place a piece of foil in the bottom.  Add mixture and bake for 1 hour.  Keeps well.

Simple - and so good!!

The last year and a bit, I've lost some of my mojo.  I've lost some of my creative craftiness, the desire to bake and even have lost the energy to be able to give my 100% to my family and friends... and this wee space as well!

Thankfully things are about to change next year (yay!), with life becoming a teensy bit simpler - well, I'm going to make a conscience effort for it to anyway.

Priorities are being reshuffled into the order they should be.

Meanwhile, inspired by Littlegoldennook and her instagram crochet blanket, my crochet mojo has been returning with the plan to make a simple sc square blanket.
