You may remember me talking about making a crochet flower hairpiece for a vintage wedding we were going to. Well, we went, and the wedding was amazing! Symon had the privilege of marrying this awesome couple from our church, and the ceremony was beautiful and the styling was amazing. This was the first ever wedding I've been to where the guests were asked to dress in theme, and amazingly everyone made an effort.
So be prepared for an overdose of vintage wedding photos from the wedding of Marianna & Brendon...
The wedding was held in the beautiful grounds of The Country Yard.
.
I just loved how the guys looked in their cheese cutter caps and braces...
The weddings guests looked great...
Then the bridal party arrived...
.
Symon did an amazing job taking the wedding (I'm biased - and love him tonnes!)...
.
After the beautiful ceremony, we mingled in the beautiful gardens and ate nibbles...
Then came the reception! The décor was super dreamy with bunting strung throughout the marque, hundreds of tea cups, many sourced from second hand stores throughout New Zealand, hand stamped name tags, tea lights in Hessian wrapped jars and more.
I loved this idea - old suitcases for gifts, cards and words of wisdom, written on postcards...
Toby mugs for the guys, tea cups for the ladies...
.
I loved the cake, created by the beautiful Robyn...
Such a fabulous wedding, and a really precious couple.
.
Congratulations guys!
p.s. Wouldn't be keeping it real if I didn't have a shot of this guy playing the fool at some point...

sigh, sigh, sigh. Am pinning. Adore your photos!!
ReplyDeleteI am pining. This wedding is all kinds of perfect! Great photos, looks like such an amazing wedding! I love everything about it :)
ReplyDeleteUhm... did he do that middle finger on that photo intentionally? Or is it just something that happened to get photographed exactly at the time that he was, well, sticking out his middle finger?? =D It the photo right after "Symon did an amazing job taking the wedding (I'm biased - and love him tonnes!)..."
ReplyDeleteHaha - um no he definitely wasn't doing the finger! It was extremely windy and hard for him to hold the mic and the wedding message. :)
DeleteThanks for your comments... I love hearing from you!!!
