My friend (who's youngest started school a while ago) gave me some advice. Since my kids are also all at school now, she said, make time for a date day every term (where hubby takes the day off work, and you spend the day together while the kids are at school). The term is almost over, and I haven't done it, or planned it! eeek!
I'm looking forward to making time for it next week. I was wondering what to do, and your post has given me a great starting point Thanks for the ideas! Yay for you, for having the blessing of nourishing your relationship with quality time each week. (I'm off to email hubby to book in a date day!)

I love that you call your hubs your bestie. Mine called me up yesterday and told me I was his best friend. made my heart melt!!

sounds dreamy!! minus the oven

awww lovely hubby time! Why not do what widge does and hoover the oven out! I dread doing it too but I always laugh when I think of her confession that that's how she cleaned it!!! The worst I've done to the oven was cook yorkshire puddings in it and all the oil spilled over onto the element below. I couldn't use it for ages afterwards because the oil kept burning off and filling the house with smoke - ghastly!!
