Would you believe it!?!? This is the 1000th post on my blog.
Makes me wonder how in the world a girl who never really liked English at school could ramble on for 1000 posts!
I didn't have a clue what a blog was until my lovely friend Anya sent me the link to Rebecca's blog about 5 years ago. Rebecca is an amazing mum of 4, who inspired me with her fun family ideas as well as her honesty about life and her faith.
So it was then, 5 years ago, that I decided I would start to blog about our family, the things I loved to bake and make and do with my crazy husband and children (and the zoo-load of pets we've had along the way).
So 1000 posts later and what have I learned? I've learned that unless you grab and remember special moments, they can easily slip by and be forgotten. Moments with friends, special memories with my family, things that brighten my day. I've also learned that God can take little things that you say and do and majorly impact and encourage others.
I've been inspired by many out there in blogland, made some precious friends, learned that most bloggers out there aren't actually self-obsessed people (like I thought they were before I started my own - hehe) but genuine people who love to write, share, communicate and be inspired.
So here's to all the amazing bloggers out there who inspire me, and also the readers who regularly comment and encourage me every day.
