This weekend I felt so proud of our Nation of New Zealand, as we host the Rugby World Cup. As I watched the opening ceremony on Friday night, I felt tears fill my eyes as I listened to Dave Dobbyn sing songs that took me back to my childhood, and enjoyed the amazing cultural display that always reminds me of my homeland.
On Saturday, we visited the opening of our new markets at the Town Basin of Whangarei. Seriously impressed with our awesome city. This is now to be a weekly event on Saturday mornings, stalls filled with crafts, delicious goodies and a new extended board walk along the harbour with amazing sculptures and plaques showing the history of the area.
