We don't usually make a big fuss of Valentines Day here... although hubby was sweet enough to come home with a new pair of sewing scissors today.
We did have a little Valentines celebration with the kids after school though, finishing off the Rainbow Cake and some Red Velvet cupcakes (recipe coming soon) from yesterday, and making sure they all knew that they are precious and loved much.
Whoever you are, whether you have love in your life or not... please know that you are much loved by someone, more loved than you would believe...

New sewing scissors! Now that's the key to a women's heart. How He Loves us is one of my favorite songs. God sure knows how to say "I love you!"
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines day!
ReplyDeleteMy son helped me open the bloggy love parcel I received and was very excited by the hearts in it. We're not doing valentines as hubby is working away for the time being.
ReplyDeleteLovely cakes! xxx
Happy Valentine's Day! Those cup cakes look divine.
ReplyDeleteWe sang this in church yesterday. What truth!
ReplyDeleteI always know when I come to your place I'm going to be blown away by some beautiful creation you made. Those are beautiful! I have to go back and see what your rainbow cake looked like...I can't help myself. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the final statement you made. Perfect!
Happy Valentine's Day!
L.O.V.E. this song (& liked the video better than David Crowder's...) Your rainbow cake is fabulous! If I weren't on such an anti-carb kick, I was totally going to make Red Velvet cake pops for my Valentine. (Guess he'll have to do with Black Bean Brownies, huh?)
ReplyDeletehappy hearts day (albeit belated)!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cupcakes, and beautiful sentiment...He can fill any void.
