I am loving my new crochet baseball cap... and I actually made it just for me.
It's crazy, but after all this time making beanies, I've never actually made one for myself to keep. So for once, I'm going to spoil myself and enjoy.
This cool pattern (along with tonnes other cool ones) was discovered in this great book from my local library, "Get Your Crochet On! Hip Hats & Cool Caps" by Afya Ibomu . There are some awesome creations in here that I am just itching to try out.
Excuse the slightly crazed look in my eyes - I go a bit like that when it comes to crochet...
One really neat thing I learned from the book was how to thread and then cover over elastic in crochet hats. One very handy trick to keep up my sleeve for future projects.
