Lemon honey is one of my MAJOR loves. I've found this really yummy brand at the supermarket which tastes delicious.
Every single morning I have a piece of toast for breakfast with lemon honey on it. Sadly, he loves it too - which means one jar doesn't go very far between us both.
This morning I decided to make some homemade lemony goodness using this recipe, and all I can say is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Reminds me of the stuff my Great Grandma 'Nandi' used to make.
Did you spot the difference?
What do you love to eat for breakfast?

Yummo!! Looks awesome! Might have to give that a go!
ReplyDeleteSo it doesn't actually have ANY honey in it at all...?
ReplyDeleteOoo I love anything lemon! I keep buying lemons to make lemon honey and then use them for other things, maybe tomorrow I will actually get the job done.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried this before. But I love the flavor of lemon. I can't wait to try this!
ReplyDeleteI love it too. Havent made it for years though as we have an old grandmotherly-type neighbour who comes and collects some lemons off of our trees and makes up jars for us ... she RAWKS! :)

ReplyDeleteYou're so creative! (even your breakfasst looks good!)
I love pancakes for breakfast, or croissant, or waffles, or bacon & eggs, or... well, I love food! LOL
Yum! I shall have to try that! I live the way you've photographed it - all that glowing yellow loveliness on the zebra print background.
ReplyDeleteMy breakfast is SO boring compared (as I'm so sleep deprived to think outside the square!): 2 Weet-a-bix with calci-trim, a glass of cranberry juice, a mutt-vitamin for breastfeeding & a yoghurt (yawn but it gets me going!).
yum yum

Awesome! I wish there was an Isreali restaurant here..
ReplyDeleteSo tell me more about Korea..Were you in Seoul? Or Busan? Did you like? What all did you two love birds do while you were here?
Love, love!
Abigail Jasmine - we were in Incheon... and we loved! We only had a short time there on our way over and coming back, but loved the place! Didn't have my camera to take photo's of the tanks of live eels, fish and octopus outside the restaurants but our short taste of Korea was amazing!
ReplyDeleteLemon honey...looks divine!!
ReplyDeleteOoooo I LOVE lemon honey, and homemade is the best.
ReplyDeleteMine comes from my 85-year old gran's lemon trees in New Plymouth and I think knowing that makes it taste so much better!
