Today was a very special day... today five of us blogging girls gathered in Warkworth (NZ) to meet for the very first time!
It's amazing how friendships can form... especially ones when you've never actually met each other in person before... and that is what I found strange today - I met people for the first time, yet felt like I'd known them for ages. I think the fact that we all love God also played a major part in that too.
We had such a beautiful day with brunch at Ducks Crossing Cafe which had a lovely outlook of the river and then a 'photo shoot' (thanks to Anya's mum Heather) by the water and a stroll through the shops in the township (and a tiny bit of Christmas shopping).
I felt like I was among old friends - we talked, laughed, shared from the heart... and we are already planning our next get-together.
A big thanks to Gail, Anya, Simone and Lisa for the coolest day!!! You girls are such beautiful people (inside and out) and it has been so awesome getting to know you all more.
Was it weird seeing each other for the first time? Totally not (well, I thought so anyway!). Maybe our voices sounded different than we'd imagined... but apart from that everyone felt like old friends.
Make sure you check out their blogs and I will link up their views of the day when they post about it soon.
