Our family was in need of some fun - they say 'fun' is the glue that holds a family together. So last night, out came the themed meal cards - and it was a 'yellow and pink' night.
Heaps of fun was had by all - Hubby wore my pink pyjama pants (much to the children's delight) and we enjoyed pink and yellow food and drink (ham rolls, corn, chips, yams, banana milk, lemon jelly etc.) and finished off the night with watching a Spongebob episode (after all, Spongebob and Patrick are the best pink and yellow guys out there!).
Is there anyone else who likes to inject a bit of fun into their family meals?

ReplyDeleteI just made them up on the computer and laminated them... I have often thought they would be great to make for others to use, but would have to get images that aren't copyrighted! We have other ideas like (there's 21 cards): Mexican meal (dress up with mustaches and sing on the guitar afterwards), Traffic lights (wear green, red or orange and have similar coloured food then end with a game of twister), Weird places (every course of dinner is in weird places like the shower, under the table etc... dress up silly as well). Maybe I will do some more posts soon about them!
