As a child I didn't really grow up with wonderful memories of Easter... well, in the chocolate department I mean. Being a kid with asthma, somehow I always seemed to get a nasty chest infection right around Easter time. This always meant I had to avoid milk products... especially Easter eggs! Sometimes I was allowed some carob chocolate, but it was never quite the same.
I also remember going away with my brother to Easter Camps... and now with four children of my own, the idea of sending the kids off to an Easter Camp seems like a very appealing idea!
Anyway, I have loved reading all the different post out there in blogland regarding Easter. Lots of creative projects and great family ideas. I am looking forward to trying some out over the next few days - although to be honest... the thought of lazing around home seems like a wonderful idea too!
Tonight, I ventured out in the freezing cold with Master 9 to our church's youth/outreach service in the park... heaps of fun, and wonderful to hear sharing and songs about the real meaning we celebrate Easter... that Jesus came to earth to make a way for us to have eternal life!
I hope you have a wonderful Easter break with your family and friends!
And if you have asthma and a chest infection at the moment... I feel your pain and my thoughts are with you! ;)
What are some memories of Easter you have?

I remember having beautiful Easter dresses with poufy skirts and lace. I also remember crying during the egg hunt because our family was so competitive. But now I am making happy memories with my son and husband. :)
