Yesterday I went to a friends baby shower. The table was decorated beautifully and there were some lovely baby shower ideas I thought I might share...
I loved the idea of a 'baby tree', filled with goodies for the mum and baby to come, as well as the cool 'nappy cake' in the middle of the table. A little book was also passed around with pages marked for us to share baby name ideas, tips for the new mother, as well as a special message to the mother from us.
We didn't play the typical baby shower games, but instead had a lovely tea party together. I even spoted some of my softies on a chair in the lounge.
Here are a few photos from the day. What different baby shower ideas have you noticed lately??

This is such a pretty baby shower party! I love the sweet cupcake table and the tea time treats. Your softies are such sweeties too. xx
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks lovely! It is always so much fun waiting for a loved one's baby!! But more to the point I want that flat manicured back yard!! It looks so lovely compared to my block of hilly dried out bush!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an organized baby shower! Love the nappy cake and all the tea party china! How gorgeous is that!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love the setting and atmosphere created. Someone has put a lot of effort in and it's paid off. Makes me want to organise a tea party. The most recent baby shower I went to involved belly dancing! It was fun.
ReplyDeleteThis cake is cool. I made my first "nappy" cake for my daughter's shower last weekend. Here's a link if you want to see it.
