After being sick and tired of my poor excuse for a pincushion, I decided to make my own... a yummy (but non edible) cupcake pincushion. I didn't really know what I was doing, but am really pleased with the outcome! As soon as I showed the finished product to Miss 4, she started asking for me to make some "real" cupcakes!

ReplyDeleteGreat pincushion! I am in a cupcake swap so will have to remember your version. Love your real cupcakes too - who can resist coloured icing and sprinkles?

ReplyDeleteYour work is lovely. Is the wrap on the cupcake made from ribbon. I love the pattern.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It is a little piece of ribbon around the middle, stitched onto pink felt.
ReplyDeleteI found you through the cupcake swap. I tried following Rachael Rabbit's tutorial, but mine weren't as pretty as hers. maybe I'll use your picushion for inspiration!
